it’s an all-star line-up, and with the help of mindy segal’s baking skills (she made 1,800 burger buns) and allen brothers’ meats, we have a burger that should really kick some booty in this year’s burger bash. spike won the event last year, but i’m ready to take him down!

the ahwahnee hotel, yosemite

in january i’ll be heading to yosemite, joined by chefs brad farmerie and paul virant, for chefs’ holidays at the ahwahnee.
“yosemite’s chefs’ holidays at the ahwahnee, held each year in january and february, feature some of the world’s most innovative and acclaimed chefs. these culinary adventures provide a showcase for the range of styles, personalities and trends that characterize the american cuisine scene.
featured in each session:
- a “meet the chefs” reception
- cooking classes and demonstrations
- behind-the-scenes kitchen tours
- five-course chefs’ holidays gala dinner, that includes 4 paired wines”
such a great idea, don’t you think? check out the ahwahnee site for more info!
