because too much fun can never be had, we’ve decided to change things up a bit for the next wandering goat dinner. for those who follow me on twitter, you’ll remember that i hid tickets to the last dinner two different days, posting clues to their whereabouts as tweets. i thought it’d be tough for you guys, but you proved me the fool! you guys found those tickets no problem! well, fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice…

here’s the deal. i’m teaming up with redeye to bring a whole new approach to this thing, and it involves you breaking a sweat in the kitchen! we’re bringing back the virtual kitchen stadium, something redeye has done once before with rick bayless, where we’ll throw a different secret ingredient at you three weeks in a row, and each week you’ll send in the photos of your dish… and i’ll be the judge of which dish “reigns supreme!” there’ll be one winner each week and when all is said and done, i’ll somehow have to figure out one all-out champion from those three…

and that winner? not only will you be coming to the next wandering goat dinner, but you’ll be working in the kitchen with me and the crew!

(insert evil laugh here.)

but seriously, it’ll be a great chance to get an up close, totally exclusive behind the scenes look at what it is we do. so much of which, beyond cooking great food, is having fun doing it.
