so imagine this. you’re holding a contest using buttons, and each button has a number on it. you only have 1,000 made but quickly realize that won’t be enough. so, yeah, you make 1,000 more - but figure there’s no way you’ll need all of them, so a bag of 500 buttons is stashed aside for emergency use only…

well, uh oh. someone accidentally grabbed that emergency bag and passed them out - and those numbers happened to go above what you’d set the cap at. and worst yet, it takes you minute to realize what happened!

okay. enough of this second person business - in case you didn’t notice, we had a mix up! a couple of you reached out to us with the heads up that your numbers were higher than the 1500 we originally drew. fortunately, we have room for more people and have drawn more numbers… quite a bit more, actually. so here’s how it shakes down, we first drew 13 numbers for those from 1501 through 2000 (just to keep it fair and balanced, this ratio is the same as 40 into 1500) and then drew another 27 on top of that. that’s right, we’re opening it up to everyone!
