my favorite event of the year is almost here!  common threads world festival brings together chicago’s best chefs along with some of our favorite chefs from around the country such as michelle bernstein (love her!) and ming tsai.

i have always been a big supporter of common threads because they make a huge difference in childrens’ lives by giving them the tools and experience they need to create healthy meals while teaching them about various cultures.  seeing the kids’ eyes light up when they walk in the kitchen and put on their chef hats is so much fun, and working alongside them and seeing the skills they have learned is more than impressive.

come hang out with some fun chefs… chris pandel from the bristol, bill kim from urban belly, guiseppe tentori from BOKA and many more… and taste foods from around the world.
 
my country this year is cambodia!  not exactly sure what i am making yet (i tend to procrastinate), but it will feature beef from allen brothers and fish from sea2table.  both great companies that are lending support to the event this year.
