well the kitchen is in, but the dust is still settling down at the goat, so we have not fired it up just yet. as we eagerly await cooking on our new jade line, we hang at my house and test recipes. not quite the same, but we still have fun in the kitchen, as always.

so imagine this. you're holding a contest using buttons, and each button has a number on it. you only have 1,000 made but quickly realize that won't be enough. so, yeah, you make 1,000 more - but figure there's no way you'll need all of them, so a bag of 500 buttons is stashed aside for emergency use only...

first i want to thank everyone for coming out this week and goin' local! it is a big part of what we are putting together at girl & the goat, and it was great to see how many folks are behind our local farmers and brewers as well.
